EasyPark Overview
Parx’s EasyPark is a comprehensive easy-to-use electronic parking payment system that provides the ultimate solution for drivers, parking operators and municipalities. EasyPark enables drivers to pay for the exact period of time parked, while simplifying the monitoring, collection and revenue distribution of parking fees, and providing a vast range of reports on usage and proceeds. The core of the EasyPark system lies in a durable, adaptable, contactless, multi-application smart card. The patented EasyPark system, which consists of a single in-vehicle device (an “in-vehicle parking meter”) and proprietary software, provides a simple and convenient solution, which can be used for all parking needs including on street parking, parking lots, toll roads, etc. The EasyPark system can be operated either as a stand-alone system or on top of traditional parking payment infrastructures to reduce cash handling and eliminate fraud.
How it works?
The in vehicle parking device is reloaded with parking fees and can then be used for on-street parking, parking lots or other applications. All parking history events are stored on the device until it is synchronized with the system. Data synchronization is done each time the device communicates with the back office system.
The back office system captures all parking events, reloading transactions, inspection activities which can then be viewed through an online reporting system accessible to all stakeholders. Read more...
